Attorney, Nelson Alfaro, raised in Miami, Florida, worked as a private investigator prior to becoming a lawyer.

He obtained his law degree from St. Thomas University School of Law in 2004 and passed the bar that same year.  As a law student, Mr. Alfaro was a member of the Moot Court Board and was recognized by the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers for his dedication to the defense of indigents.

While still in law school, he interned for the Miami-Dade Public Defender’s office where he worked on a significant amount of felony cases involving serious charges.  After passing the bar, he was hired by that office where he tried numerous cases and favorably resolved countless others for his clients.

Since his admission to the Florida Bar, Mr. Alfaro has limited his practice exclusively to State and Federal Criminal Defense including high level international drug trafficking and money laundering cases.  Mr. Alfaro remains a member in good standing of the Florida Bar and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
